Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 31, 2026

1. Introduction

Vritto ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Vritto platform accessible at vritto.web.app and related services (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Service.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials. If you sign in through a third-party provider (Google, Apple), we receive the profile information you authorize.

User Content

The Service stores the data you create within modules — tasks, calendar events, notes, health records, financial entries, and all other module content. This data is stored securely in Google Cloud Firestore under your user account.

Third-Party Integrations

If you connect external calendars (Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook), we store OAuth tokens necessary to sync your events. We access only the scopes you explicitly authorize (e.g., read-only calendar access). We do not read email, contacts, or any data beyond the authorized scope.

Usage Data

We may collect anonymized usage analytics including pages visited, features used, device type, and browser information to improve the Service. This data cannot be used to identify you personally.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide, operate, and maintain the Service
  • To sync data with third-party services you connect (calendars, etc.)
  • To send notifications and reminders you configure
  • To improve and personalize the Service
  • To communicate with you about updates, security alerts, or support
  • To detect, prevent, and address technical issues or abuse

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on Google Cloud infrastructure (Firebase / Cloud Firestore) with encryption at rest and in transit. OAuth tokens for third-party integrations are stored in Firebase with server-side access controls. We implement industry-standard security measures, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share data only in these cases:

  • Service Providers: Google Cloud Platform (hosting, database, cloud functions) and any analytics tools, solely to operate the Service
  • Legal Requirements: If required by law, regulation, or legal process
  • Safety: To protect the rights, safety, or property of Vritto, our users, or the public

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access: Request a copy of the data we hold about you
  • Correction: Update or correct inaccurate information
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your account and associated data
  • Disconnect: Revoke third-party integrations at any time from the calendar settings
  • Export: Download your data in a portable format

To exercise these rights, contact us at the email listed below.

7. Cookies & Local Storage

The Service uses essential cookies and local storage for authentication session management and user preferences (e.g., theme selection). We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
